This mural has evolved from an initial "thinkspace" to a growing series of paintings. My work is heavily shaped by the study of architecture, figure- ground studies, street art, typography, black music, and black culture. It is an ongoing dialogue about black identity, queerness, binaries, notions of equity, and space and form.
